Democrat Understands Importance of Providing Students with a World Class Education
NORTHBROOK, IL–Today, Democrat for Congress, Brad Schneider (IL-10) announced earning the endorsement of the Illinois Federation of Teachers.
“The teachers' endorsement means the world to me because I would not be where I am without the teachers in my life,” said Brad Schneider. “As a father, my children are my greatest source of pride and I know they would not have reached their potential without all the great teachers who have inspired them. I also know every child in the country deserves an opportunity for a world class education, and that starts with great teachers.”
“Brad Schneider has always been a vocal advocate for Illinois educators, public employees, and all working families,” said IFT President Dan Montgomery. “In Congress, Brad was a champion for increasing access to higher education and strengthening our public schools to prepare every student for the 21st century economy, and we know he’ll continue that important fight. On behalf of the 100,000 members of the Illinois Federation of Teachers, we are proud to give him our endorsement.”
