Brad Schneider Earns JACPAC Endorsement
Latest in String of Endorsements for Schneider
Deerfield, IL – Today, Democrat Brad Schneider (IL-10) announced the endorsement of Joint Action Committee for Political Affairs (JACPAC). JACPAC is a bi-partisan organization based in Highland Park that advocates for a strong US-Israel relationship, women’s reproductive rights, and the separation of church and state.
“I’m incredibly honored to have earned the support of JACPAC,” Brad Schneider said. “I look forward to continuing to work together to protect the US-Israel relationship, to make sure every woman has real access to critical healthcare services and to always protect the separation between religion and state.”
"During his time in Congress, Brad did more than vote the right way on our issues. He was a leader on them with a proven record of legislative accomplishments," said JACPAC Executive Director Marcia Balonick. “Brad is a champion for a strong US-Israel relationship, understanding the importance that support for Israel must always be bi-partisan. He is also an advocate for every woman’s right to make her own decision about her healthcare. We need Brad back in Congress, and we are proud to offer him our enthusiastic support."
Before, during and since his term in Congress, Schneider has been a leading voice advocating for a strong U.S.-Israel partnership. He has also consistently stood up to Republican attacks on women’s access to healthcare and economic opportunity. Schneider was on the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the Middle East North Africa subcommittee, and was also a member of the House Pro-Choice Caucus.
This is the latest in a long list of key endorsements for Schneider, including Reps. Tammy Duckworth, Jan Schakowsky, Cheri Bustos and Robin Kelley, 5 state senators, 6 mayors or village presidents, and many other current and former elected officials, as well as more than 7,000 grassroots endorsers. In 2014, Schneider also earned the endorsement of JACPAC, as well as of Planned Parenthood, NARAL Pro-Choice America, among other organizations.
