The Daily Herald, suburban Chicago’s largest daily newspaper, announced their endorsement of Brad Schneider for the 10th Congressional District of Illinois.  They are “strongly” supporting Brad Schneider’s candidacy over his three Democratic rivals, saying, “Schneider has known personally the struggle of finding a job in recessionary times.  He strikes us as the most well-rounded.”
“We are extremely pleased with the Daily Herald endorsement and their support gives another example of our campaign’s momentum,” said Schneider.   The Daily Herald endorsement echoes our grassroots support around the district and among Democratic organizations that Brad is the best candidate to defeat Bob Dold in November.   This first newspaper endorsement comes on the heels of the most recent poll showing Schneider leading 29% to 14% over his nearest opponent.
