Teachers for Brad

In our rapidly-evolving 21st Century global economy, teachers are playing an even more vital role than ever before. The success of the next generation will be directly related to the quality of our teachers. In Congress, I will fight to end the senseless attacks on our teachers and work to provide them with the tools they need to effectively teach our children.

Across Illinois and the country, there are too many inadequate classrooms, and I will advocate for sustained investment in our schools and teachers, constantly trying to build on their success and improve their performance. Education has always been a main focus of mine, and I could not be prouder to have the support of many teachers across the 10th District. I’m always looking for fresh ideas on how to improve our current education system. Becoming active in this group is one of the best ways, as a teacher, you can stay informed and engaged with the latest developments from the trail.

Even though my parents never went to college, I learned the value of higher education and the difference it can make in people’s lives from them.  I was fortunate to have excellent teachers as models who encouraged me to become an educator.  As an adult, I went back to school and earned an MBA from the University of …
