Overview
The 2012 General Election season has begun and the Brad Schneider for Congress campaign is in full swing! We are seeking only the best and the brightest young talent for exciting fellowships and internships in a Top Tier Congressional Race. There are part-time and full-time positions available. Academic credit will be given and supporter housing may be available. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the inside workings of a campaign for U. S. Congress while making valuable contacts for a future role in government and politics.
This is the most Democratic district with a Republican incumbent in the entire country, and it is THE top pickup opportunity for Democrats. Our fellowship and internship programs have garnered an incredible amount of attention. Spots are limited so apply now!
Fellowship Program
Brad Schneider Fellowship positions are available to recent graduates and college students. Fellows will be given special assignments and leadership roles. These tasks include donor research, contacting voters, finance and field targeting projects, and much more. Additionally, Fellows will be given opportunities to attend exclusive events with local and national leaders. Fellows are required to work at least 35 hours per week.
Internship Program
Brad Schneider Internship positions are available to college and high school students. Interns will primarily be responsible for delivering our campaign message to voters. Interns are required to work at least 20 hours per week.
Qualifications
Fellows and interns must share our passion and enthusiasm for electing Brad Schneider to the United States Congress. We are looking for motivated, energetic leaders to represent Brad throughout the District.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Strong academic record
- Good writing, oral and organizational skills
- Flexible schedule
- Quick learning ability
- Willingness to complete a variety of tasks
- Previous intern, fellow, and campaign experience is preferred but not required
