Contrary to the ideological rhetoric of the Tea Party, protecting our environment and expanding
our economy go hand-in-hand. 21st Century American innovation in green and renewable energy will create countless new, private-sector jobs – jobs that will be around for decades to come. Offering tax incentives to companies that reduce or eliminate carbon pollution will offer market solutions to our overdependence on foreign oil, and a strong EPA will ensure that our children have clean air to breathe and clean water to drink. Dold Move: Dold, Schneider tout their independence.
“In back-to-back interviews” on WBBM Newsradio 780, Rep. Bob Dold (R) and businessman Brad Schneider (D) touted “their independence from their respective party lines.”
Dold “said” he’s “proud of the fact that he’s stood up” to the GOP “on several different issues.
